Description

I'm sure you have seen people reposting a journal about anti-bullying and suicide.  At the end, it says "I bet 95% of you won't repost this, but I'm sure the people with a heart and a backbone will."  Well, I don't do chain journals like that; I do my own thing: chat icons.

I am 100% against bullying... online and in person.  I dealt with it first hand all through middle school.  Those were THE WORST years of my life, getting picked on, made fun of, and fearing everyone around me.  I walked to school, and I was not even safe when I left .... some of the kids would try and stop me in the woods, and I was always terrified.

Growing up as the oldest of 4 brothers with our mom only, we didn't have any money for good clothes or fancy gadgets/toys/cool things.  I wasn't cool, by any means, but I didn't want to be someone I wasn't, just to fit in.  So I didn't have 5 friends to my name, and I was always afraid.  And this was before the internet, so I didn't even have that for relief.

But it got better....

As I went through high school, kids "grew up" more and didn't bully so much.  I slowly was able to get over my fear and learn how to socialize better.  By the time I graduated, I felt a lot more confident, and learned to not even care what other people thought about me.  I was who I was, and that was good enough for me, and I liked who I was.  I really learned how to trust in Jesus for my support, and he filled me with all the acceptance and fullness I could ever need.

Then I went onto college, and bullying was gone completely.  People are adults and mature, they are there for a reason.  I made friends with everyone I met, and life was great.

I'm working now, and life couldn't be better.

So I just wanted to encourage anyone who has to deal with bullying or suicidal thoughts... because it WILL get better.

Just hold on, stay strong, and fill your life with what you are good at and what makes you happy.  I encourage everyone to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.... He is everything you'll ever need.

Life IS worth living.... you were put here, in this place, at this time, for a reason.  It's your purpose in life to explore and discover that reason, and to live as you were meant to.  You need to lean how YOU can make the world a better place for everyone!

OK I think I rambled long enough.... you probably want to see the video.  Too bad it was deleted, sorry about that.
