SURPRISE Springtrap Portrait!!!

I was not planning on doing this today, but the early release of the "official" Five Nights at Freddy's 3 GMOD map (Fazbear Frights) was just released (it's not nearly finished though, so stay tuned):

I really wanted to do a full-body portrait of this amazing Springtrap model.

So here it is

Also, it's 's birthday, so what a better "gift" to a fellow SFM artist and Springtrap lover than dedicating this picture to him?

This picture took me a long time to do. First, I explored the map in Gmod to find the best location. I ended up using this "camera" position.

Next step was to add all of the lighting. There are 2 lights in each back room, 4 in the hallway, and 1 in the front left room. Oh, and there are 2 lights for Bonnie's eye... .I originally rendered the picture without lighting it up, but I thought it fitting, and it gave the one dark spot some light, and illuminated Springtrap's other ear.

This is a zoomed out picture of the map, just as it is, no models or lights, so you can get a feel for it (yes it's dark lol):

I then used this in-game picture to model my lighting as closely as possible to the real deal:

I spent most of the time on the lighting. Trying to get my SFM lights to match Scott's lights was not easy. And, of course, the Gmod map is not a perfect representation of the game, the rooms and hallways are a bit long/narrow in comparison to FNAF3.

Once I got the lighting and camera done, it was time to add Springtrap. I had a few ideas at first, but it was quickly obvious that he had to be right in the middle to get the clear, full-body shot. I had him just standing there at first, but then I decided that he should be walking. And then I gave him a really evil expression lol, as if he finally caught on to your pathetic Balloon Boy sounds, and has had enough of your games. He's coming straight for you, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Then I rendered the poster and edited it in Lightroom. Then, it was into paint.net to adjust the posters on the walls and do some shadow work.

*sorry about the kinda bad critique*

-the posture is way to... stiff for a broken and torn animatronic. It sould be limping, ramshackled even. That posture is better than mine o-o
-I can see you tried VERY HARD for those posters HAHA XD *you can ignore this one*
-*I HAVE ONLY SEEN FNAF 1 AND 2 SO THE BONNIE THINGY IS CONFUSING ME* That Bonnie doll looks freakingly... awesome. Though I do have to say what position is it in? I'm utterly confused as to if it's on the box of bolt's shoulder or it's like that Turnip-Head-That's-Actually-The-Prince in Howl's Moving Castle.

ONTO EXPLANATIONS~!

Impact: 3/5 | Let's see... I don't get a lot of things at the moment (I'm practically brain dead from my brother doing is scales on the Clarinet, and might I add super G is the most annoying sound in the planet next to screaming babies and flute high notes) but this is pretty good. I like the "upgraded" one you did though. :>
Technique: 2/5 | (sorry) it's not as great as the recent ones I've seen, so...
Originality: 3.5/5 | I can see other artists of the FNaF fandom doing this, but you've totally added the checkerboard tiles and the lighting, along with the whole "dilapidated store" feeling and design. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
